Most kids wait all year for summer, but for me it’s always been about the Fall. No.. none of that pumpkin spice stuff. I’m talking about football season. I spent last year working hard with the Texans, running routes, understanding the receiving end of the game of football. This fall is my time.

The pregame jitters on Sunday morning motivate me to show you what I’ve been working so hard for, what I can do. You’ve seen it from me at the Ohio State University, but now I’ve channeled the NOTHING WAS GIVEN attitude and brought it to a different position, a different team on a different day. My team. My home.

There was 1WAY to run the routes, 1WAY or no way. Now that I’ve got them down now, this season I’ll be reading the defense more, instead of reading the plays. Adversity is nothing new to me. I have learned to be comfortable feeling uncomfortable. There is 1WAY to push through the learning process to finally see it all pay off.

I know what I have to do. I have the tools, the fans and the team to make something great happen this season. But greatness cannot be rushed. I know what I have to do, I have the patience to see the process play out. I know success will come with time.
